Speech and Language Services
The Joy School offers a variety of Speech and Language services to students in Pre-School though 8th grade. Individual and group therapy are available to current and prospective students, as well as students from other schools. All of our speech and language programs and therapy sessions are run by our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, who are also available for private therapy sessions.

Language Boosters Program
Wednesdays, 3:00-4:30 p.m.
This program is designed to meet the needs of children with speech and language delays through active language based activities with a strong emphasis on social skills (pragmatics) such as circle time, games and centers. Our Speech-Language Pathologists lead the class.
Social Skills 101
Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
This program is designed to give children an opportunity to learn and develop appropriate social skills in a small group setting. Students are grouped by age, grade level and their abilities. Classes will focus on initiating conversations, keeping conversations going, social problem solving, turn-taking, game playing, perspective taking, and much more. The course is lead by our Speech-Language Pathologists.
