Preschool Summer Program |

June
2nd - 26th Mon - Thurs 8:30 -12:00pm
This
program is designed to meet the needs of children with
speech and language delays through active language based
activities with a strong emphasis on social skills
(pragmatics) throughout the day, including circle time,
centers, games, snack time, recess and more! Meredith
Hibbetts, M.A. CCC-SLP, our speech and language
pathologist will lead the classes.

The Joy School Language-Mini
This course was designed to fit the
needs of the upcoming 4th-6th
grade student struggling with receptive and expressive
language. The course will be two hours in length. The
first hour focusing on social skills/pragmatics and the
second hour working on visualizing and verbalizing
skills that are linked to reading comprehension and
mathematics.

Skill Builders Summer

- Fri 8:30 - 3:00pm
Students may sign up for one or both sessions.
Our
remedial program will focus on addressing the most
common areas of difficulty for students with learning
differences by providing direct, systematic instruction
for students in small groups. Each day will allow for
all students to participate in activities and programs
specifically designed for addressing deficits in the
following areas: Reading, Math, Writing,
Handwriting/Keyboarding, & Spatial Awareness.
