The Joy School Annual Fund

The Joy School is steadfast in its mission to educate and help children with learning differences reach their academic, social and creative potential.  Everyday, our faculty and staff collectively work together to bring the joy of learning to each of our students. 

We serve to meet the needs of the children with learning differences on an ongoing basis.  With tuition income covering 90% of the School’s operating budget, The Joy School Annual Fund provides the Board of Trustees with flexibility to support current, ongoing programs to fulfill the school’s mission.  Areas of operational needs include:

• The highest caliber of trained faculty and staff with competitive compensation
• Adequate student financial aid
• Individualized instruction when needed
• Classrooms with small student-teacher ratios
• Enhancements to the educational program
• Faculty and staff members the opportunity to attend national conferences & workshops anywhere in the country
• strengthening of our enrichment programs
• community outreach and
• maintenance of facilities and grounds

The Joy School Annual Fund allows us to meet the daily needs of educating and helping our students.  We need the support of every member of The Joy School community – parents, alumni parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends.  Every gift counts regardless of it size.  You are helping us make a difference in the children we serve with learning differences and bringing the joy of learning to their lives.

The Joy School is deeply appreciative to its community of supporters.  As a way to recognize the generosity of our supporters, the School offers the following six giving circles.  Become a member of one today!

Founders' Circle $10,000 and more

Leadership Circle $5,000 - $9,999

Head of School Circle $2,500 - $4,999

Eagles' Circle $1,000 - $2,499

One Chelsea Circle $550 - $999

Key Hole Circle $250 - $499

Friends' Circle up to $249
