Affording TJS

Worth Every Penny

In a traditional school, your child may be pulled from classrooms, lunch, or recess to receive extra support.

At TJS, kids receive the support they need consistently throughout every class, all day!

Our learning specialists choose to work with kids who have learning differences and love what they do!

The tuition at The Joy School may give you pause...we get it!

The true cost of education with teacher-student ratios at 1:6 in Kindergarten through second grade and 1:8 in third through eighth grade provides benefits and opportunities that could not be found in schools with larger ratios.

The investment in education is one of the most important decisions we can make for our children. The true cost of education at The Joy School, with small classroom ratios, ensures that the investment will be worth every penny.

Financial Aid Awards

We want children to benefit from a Joy School education, so we offer financial aid to help make The Joy School affordable for all families.   The Board of Trustees maintains a longstanding commitment to allocating 12% of each annual budget to providing financial aid. Each year, approximately 20% of our students receive some level of financial assistance. Unfortunately, the need for financial aid grows each year, and we are not able to fully meet the demand.

For some families, financial aid covers the majority of tuition. For others, it bridges the gap between what the family can afford and the actual cost of tuition, making attendance at TJS possible.

Please note that the maximum financial aid award offered is 85% of enrollment and tuition fees. Financial aid awards are need-based and do not require repayment.
