Who We Serve
Students come to The Joy School because they struggle academically, socially, or with general difficulties.
Academically, students may be on or below grade level in one or more subject areas. They may be surviving at their school, but are not reaching their full potential despite receiving additional support.
Socially, students may need support with social pragmatics, social cues, and perspective-taking.
General difficulties include any learning difference that affects their learning throughout the day.
