Joy Fund
The Joy Fund is at the heart of The Joy School's annual fundraising efforts.
Charitable gifts flow directly into this fund to help meet the total cost of delivering the school's multi-faceted education, which is people-intensive with small class sizes. The fund supports about 5% of the school's yearly operating budget. Gifts to The Joy Fund are 100% tax-deductible and provide immediate unrestricted support, impacting these essential areas:
- Specialized training in traditional and learning/neurodiversity differences for teachers and staff as the world of education rapidly changes
- New classroom materials as teachers adapt instruction to their students
- Technology updates in a timely manner
- Student events including field trips, guest speakers, performances, and social gatherings
- Parent/teacher educational events that inform and bring families together
- Tuition assistance for deserving families whose child needs a specialized Joy School education
